General Questions
Where are your servers located? Our servers are hosted in data centres located around the world. If possible, we can transfer your server to a different location completely free-of-charge, because you shouldn't have to pay extra for no reason.
Do you offer refunds? Yes, we offer a 24 hour money-back guarantee on most of our services. If you're not satisfied with our services within the first 24 hours after purchase, we'll provide a full refund, no questions asked.
Can I upgrade my plan? We understand the importance of having flexibility and being able to upgrade and downgrade your plan. For most services, you're able to easily switch between plans in only a few clicks. When upgrading, you'll only have to pay the difference in cost.
Which payment methods are accepted? We support payments through PayPal or credit/debit cards (Stripe), with the option to choose either recurring or manual billing cycles. At Lodestone, we make the billing process simple so that you can focus on managing your services.
Minecraft Hosting Questions
Which plan should I choose? If you are running a small vanilla server, we recommend our 4GB+ plans. If you are running an established community or a server with many mods, our 8GB+ plans are a good choice. For large networks, our 16GB+ plans offer the best stability and performance.
Are the servers actually online 24/7? Yes, our servers remain online 24/7 so your players will always be able to connect. Even if there's no one online, your server will remain online and not shutdown. You can setup schedules through the panel if you'd like your server to restart at specific times.
What does backup storage mean? Unlike many other providers, we don't offer fixed numbers of backup slots. Instead, you'll be able to create unlimited backups up to a fixed total storage limit. All plans come with 50GB for free as standard, but you can increase this by selecting how much you require at checkout.
Do I need to setup port forwarding? Absolutely not, as we make it easy to get started on your server with very little technical knowledge needed. You'll be given a server IP and port to connect with. You can also can create a free subdomain (e.g. servername.lodehost.xyz), open more ports, or use your own domain.
How do I create a server webstore or forum? If you'd like to create a webstore for your server, we recommend using Tebex. We offer 30 free days of their plus plan to all customers, simply select the addon at checkout. To create an online forum, we recommend purchasing one of our web hosting plans and installing the NamelessMC software.
